Updates and New Exciting things!

So, I'm super behind on this. So much has been going on and so much is coming up! I have honestly been overwhelmed at all the things coming and going. I just needed some time to settle my brain out of design... and into writing!

Our first bridal show happened in February. It was an amazing opportunity to meet not only sweet brides, but also amazing vendors. It's refreshing to meet other creatives because they "get it". It also allows us to be in line with some really great collaborations! I can't wait to share all the fun things we have coming up!

Bridal shows are also a fantastic way to show off what we're capable of. This time I decided to debut a floral chandelier! My husband and a friend set up an arbor and hung the mechanics for me, then I designed it on-site, just as I would do at a wedding. It was lush and fresh and amazing. Garlands are hot this season and our set-up was full of them. I was also was blessed to be able to forage tulip magnolia blossoms. Wow!! They stayed lovely enough to work in all the designs for the day and smelled amazing.

This was the sink of pretty. Garden roses, magnolias, sweet peas... so much smelly goodness!

I was also asked to do the centerpiece for the sign-in table. The King Protea turned out to be quite the statement flower.

And the rest are just the photos of the set up. It is simple since we only had a 4ft x 4ft area to set up in. But in all, I was pleased with how it came out.
