Floral Workshop in Utah

While our events continue to get pushed back due to COVID, I have tried to stay immersed in flowers and continue to improve on technique!

I took a short trip to Utah to take a boho bouquet class with Morgan of Olive and Sage floral. Her earthy bohemian style with unique materials is something I gravitate to, and a style lots of my clients love, too!

We started with a demonstration (and taking notes) then we got to make our own. There were some talented florists that joined for this class and it was so fun and interesting to see how each of us put our spin on it. Each bouquet had it's own unique flare and even color palette! Mine was a little deeper in color with burnt palms and local reed grass as the focal elements.

It's so important to stay on top of the trends, but also to keep all the different techniques in your creative toolkit. I can't wait to apply what I learned to making some beautiful things for my upcoming clients!
